“Bringing the Outdoors In: A Four-Generation Garden Sanctuary”

The genesis of this project was simple: bring the outdoors in. Our goal was to create a screened pavilion that offers the immersive feeling of being right in the garden. To achieve a seamless transition, we carefully matched the masonry details, materials, and paving patterns from the surrounding patio space. The centerpiece fireplace was converted to gas for effortless warmth and beauty, positioned so it can be enjoyed from the patio, inside the pavilion, or from within the home. Every piece of furniture and spatial layout was designed to foster a direct connection to nature while keeping guests comfortable and protected from the elements. Milieu brought the full scope of its design expertise and skilled craftsmanship to this project—incorporating custom lighting, irrigation, an outdoor kitchen, gas lanterns, lush plantings, turf, complex drainage solutions, and more. A special thank you to our partners at Warman Construction for their incredible vision and expertise. Today, four generations of family can gather in tranquility to experience the simple wonders of nature together.
